Behind the Scenes: Why I Created the Discover the Real You Workshop
In short: Some things cannot be reached in a one-hour session. They need time, a room full of kind people, and permission to slow all the way down. That is why I created Discover the Real You, a two-day workshop this September. Here is the honest story behind it.

There is a question I hear more than almost any other, quietly, at the end of a session: how do I hold on to this feeling once I leave?
For years I did not have a good answer. A reading can crack something open. A healing can bring real relief. But an hour goes fast, and life is loud, and by the time you are back in the car the world has already started pulling you back to who you were before you walked in.
So I kept wondering. What would it take, not to glimpse the real you, but to actually come home to her and stay?
What a Single Session Cannot Do

I love the work I do in one-on-one sessions. It is sacred, and it changes people. You can feel a version of that same care in how I prepare for every session.
But some things simply need more room. They need time you are not watching the clock through. They need a table of people who are all reaching for the same thing. They need a full day where no one needs anything from you, so your own voice finally gets loud enough to hear.
You cannot rush that. And you should not have to.
Why September, and Why a Whole Weekend
September carries the energy of the number 9: harvest, completion, the closing of a chapter so a new one can begin. It is the most honest month of the year to ask yourself what you are ready to release and who you are becoming.
So I built the weekend around that. Two days, in my space, with a small circle of people. Not a lecture. An experience. My intention has never been to teach spiritual concepts at you. It is to create a place where you actually live them, then carry them home.
There is a real difference between hearing an idea and living it. The moments where you discover your own truth, with your own hands, are the ones that stay with you long after the weekend ends.
A Little of What Happens Inside
I will not give away everything, because part of the magic is not knowing. But here is one piece.
Early in the weekend, each person receives a handful of small stones. Some are smooth pebbles. Some are heavier. Over the two days, you come to see the pebbles as your life, your experiences, the moments that shaped you. And the heavier stones as the beliefs that have been weighing you down, the old stories that say you are not enough, not ready, not worthy.
No one tells you what your stones mean. You decide. And you choose which to keep carrying and which to finally set down. That moment of choosing, in your own body, is worth more than anything I could say to you in an hour.

Simple objects become powerful mirrors when you let your body choose what to carry.
This kind of experiential, body-mind-spirit work sits in a long and respected tradition, the same one explored for decades at Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. here in Virginia Beach, where I teach.
Who It Is For
This weekend is for you if you have felt, lately, like you lost track of who you really are. If you are standing at a crossroads. If you are carrying something you are ready to put down. Or if you simply sense there is a truer, freer version of you waiting, and you are finally willing to meet her.
You do not need any experience. You do not need to call yourself spiritual. You only need to be willing to slow down and be honest with yourself for two days.
The Doorway to More
Discover the Real You is also the first step on a longer path. The workshops this fall lead, for those who feel called, all the way to the spring retreat by the ocean. You can go exactly as deep as you are ready to go. And whatever you are navigating, a reading or a Medical Intuitive session can walk beside the work too.
An Invitation
If something in you leaned in while reading this, please listen to it. That quiet pull is usually the truest thing.
The workshop is September 12 and 13, in my space in Virginia Beach, and there are only 24 seats. When you are ready, reserve your spot, or see everything coming up on the events calendar.
I would be honored to spend those two days walking beside you.
With love, Nancy
